New Zealand, Australia, or Hawaii (my mom lived there for a year when my grandpa was in the Navy, so I'd like to see that area.)

Yellowstone, as a child, but also taking my kids there.  It is a Walquist tradition to go there.  Not only seeing the sights, but also being together as a family.

Yellowstone, last year.  All 24 of the Walquist clan was there so it was crazy and fun all in one, although Chris and I cut it short when Annie got the stomach flu last year.

There are a couple places I would LOVE to go.  One is Europe and the other is Iguazu Falls in Brazil and Argentina.  I am a huge fan of waterfalls and this is one I would love to see!

I would say California.  It's beautiful and there's lots to do!

I think it would depend on where I was going.  If it were a trip to SLC, then I would probably only want a day or two.  But I would want a lot more time for Europe or somewhere like that.

Probably California.  Disneyland was pretty fun.

California, again . . .  Went and visited a friend.  I need to go somewhere new.

I would go to Europe.  I love all the history of it!

Here are Jenny's answers to this week's questions:

1. Where is your favorite vacation place?

I would say my favorite place to vacation would be in the mountains.  Also, anywhere in front of the ocean.

2. How long do you like to go on vacation?

Is FOREVER too long?? HaHa! At least a week!!

3. Where did you go on your favorite vacation?

I have always remembered Yellowstone and how BEAUTIFUL it was there.

4. Where was your most recent vacation?

Utah visiting family.

5. If money were no object, where would you like to go?

Some of the places on my bucket list are New York City, Ireland, Spain, and the Florida Coast.  O ya, and Chicago.

Wedding Update

I think some of you have been wondering about Ashley's wedding.  She'll be getting the announcements out this week, but here are some of the details.  The ceremony will be at 1:00 and the reception will be from 5:00 to 7:00 on December 17.  Ashley would like our family to wear her colors, if possible, which are red, white, and silver with black accents (you don't have to wear all of them).
Things are starting to come together.  Tonight we worked on the centerpieces.  I think they turned out pretty good.  We got the ideas from this blog.  Here are some pictures of what we did.

We'll put these out on the tables in little groupings.  Here's what Ashley's hands looked like at the end.  Mine were about the same.

Also, Ashley made these for the nieces to put in their hair.  There will be something for the nephews, too, but not to wear in their hair.  :)

Happy Birthday, Jenny!

I just wanted to wish Jenny a happy birthday.  I hope you have a wonderful day.  I got a program recently that makes videos and I wanted to post this one in honor of Jenny.  The thing that stands out to me is what a good mother she is and how much she loves being one.  I love her kids tons and they are amazing.  She and Steve are doing a great job!  Cross your fingers that the video works!:)
