Family Journal

Every once in a while I want to post a question that everyone can answer if they want to. My hope is that we can all get to know each other a little better. You can put the answer in the comments section. Make sure to sign the comment with your name so we know who made the comment. Here's the first question:

What's your favorite family memory?

I remember that air plane that chased us! It sounds crazy to me now but it really was chasing us! :>) But seriously I remember dressing up our rabbits and playing with them. I remember once when we were snowed in and didn't have a snow shovel we had a huge snow ball fight and we were able to get out after it! We had alot of good memories!

I can't think of just one memory so here are a few of my favorites:
Sleeping outside in the backyard of our house by the Ranch. We'd all snuggle together and Sam would come snuggle in with us too. We usually woke up damp from the dew.
Playing the dictionary game. I loved finding the strangest words and seeing what everyone thought they meant.
Cooking for Wade and the girls when we lived in the house in Rupert. I used to mix together all the leftovers in the fridge and call it a "salad." I'm surprised you guys ate it.
When Wade's rabbit ate my rabbit's ear. Dad was so mad! I remember that rabbit used to chase our 4-H leader's chihuahua around her yard. She was a mean little thing.
When Ashley was born. She was like our own little doll that was alive. We made some interesting outfits for her. We also had a lot of fun trying to convince her to take those nasty vitamins.

Our camping trip to Wild Horse Canyon. It was beautiful. It was fun watching all you kids play and have fun wading in the creek, eating lots of food and lossing a camera and glasses into the deepest hole in the stream..

I remember going camping. It took me a little while to make the fairy house. I made a leaf fairy dress and glued it together with butter. Ethan made a fairy house, too. I saw a worm when I was digging a hole for the fairy's well. We put a plastic cup to help the water stay in it. I put little teeny, tiny rocks to make a path. I got millions of sticks and put them together to make it so it wouldn't rain inside the house. I got lots of pieces of bark for a roof. First I did the edges and then I did the center. I got a big piece of bark and I used leaves to make sheets and blankets for the bed. I got a few leaves and I curled them up and it looked like a pillow. Inside the house I put a wall by the bedroom, in the middle of the house, with a little doorway to get into the bedroom. I got wood to make the couches. I made a table from bark and sticks and I put some leaves on it for the fairy to eat. I got little pieces of rocks to make a square for a garden. I made little holes and put flowers in them. I put little pieces of food, that were leaves, for the fairies to eat. I made plates by getting little pieces of bark and then I put the food on. I made the bark into a shape like a cup and put in some water for drinks.

It was really funny when we went camping a long time ago. There was a creek by the camping spot. Me Bekah and Kelsie went swimming in the creek. We found an egg in the creek and we showed grandpa. Then grandpa and Aunt Ashley got in an argument of whether the egg was rotten or not. Aunt Ashley threw it to the ground and we ran away because when it broke it smelled really bad. It smelled bad for a while.

I also like the twinkie dogs.

I like catching fish and cooking them with grandpa.

I like how we all sit together as a family and talk when were eating dinner.

I remember when JJ ate his twinkie dog. It was funny!

My favorite family memory is our trip to Yellowstone. It was beautiful. I remember when we thought a mama moose (she had just had a baby moose) was gonna charge us when we were on a hike and we had to run past her.

I also remember the airplane chasing us Jessica.

I loved playing Uno as a family growing up. I loved laughing and teasing each other during the game.
